David is a founding partner with Horlick Levitt Di Lella LLP. He earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998 and was subsequently called to both the New York State and the Ontario Bar.
David has a broad civil litigation practice with an emphases on condominium law, insurance coverage disputes, construction deficiency matters and personal injury litigation. David also acts an advisor to business clients with respect to corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
David has successfully advocated before a variety of courts and tribunals in the U.S. and Canada, including the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario License Appeal Tribunal, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Ontario College of Pharmacists Discipline Committee. He has lectured and written for a variety of trade organizations including the Canadian Condominium Institute, the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario, Humber College, and the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association. David’s past professional memberships include the Ontario Trial lawyers Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
